Pictures of Ike

Say a prayer!
IKE died tonight
There are no words, Ike was a son to me.
I can't believe it. I left to do laundry at 12:30am and came back 1:10am and he was laying beside my chair, I still can't believe it.
Bill,
We were very sorry to hear about Ike. You have our deepest sympathies.

Bill,
I am so sorry to hear about Ike. I know how much you loved and cared for
him.
Sorry I haven't been in touch. This move was a nightmare and one of my
aunts passed away, I've been home in NY more weekends then here in Erie so I
haven't had a lot of time to get my apartment in order. I also started my
internship which is keeping me extremely busy. I'd love to continue our
conversations. I hope that you can find some solice in the fact that Ike is
no longer suffering and he's catching frisbees again.
Talk to ya soon,
Susan

So sorry to here about the loss of Ike. Only God's unconditional love
rivals that of "man's best friend". At least in my life, the love of my
faithful friends of the canine kind is never forgotten.

Bill,
My heart goes out to you at this time. I know Ike was very special, but he
is no longer in any pain and will not suffer. Just remember all the good
times that you had and know this, that you were the best dog owner that he
could have had. We will say big prayers for you both.
Warms regards,
Heather

I am sorry to hear that, Bill
I used to tell everybody at the gyms I worked out at that "my friend has a gym and he would let his Pitbull run around in there and sniff your sack right as you get the weight up. That was to test your vision and focus on wieght lifting." They all thought that was cool! I am sorry for your loss, he was the coolest Pitbull I ever knew!

I will pray for you.
Call me sometime.
I'm afraid Ike only has weeks left one for sure maybe 2 he is bad. I'm going to miss him more than I've missed anyone.
Lisa, I hope when we all were together, you me and Ike, that you had some of the greatest times in your life. I know I did, I hope Ike did and I wonder if you did.
I really tried to make a good life for Ike I hope I did, he is going to be so missed.  He has been so strong through this , always playing and still such a sweetheart. In as much discomfort as I know he has to be in he is still so sweet, never once mean or irritable. What a great animal. I only hope to be so strong to the end.
Lisa,
I guess by keeping so busy and playing with Ike everyday I've been in denial of what is really happening. It is just hitting me that he is going to die.  I wish you would call...Thanks for at least checking the site so often. Ike is still with us. I thought he was on his way out the other day, he got real red and hot and didn't eat for 3 days he did drink but kept peeing on himself and not moving when he did it.
But for now he has seemed a little better, that lump is huge. It is bigger than a football and growing up his jowls. I won't let him suffer but I won't prematurely end his life either. Everyday I try to make the most out of it for him.
Lisa, Ike's time is coming near and end fast, I can tell he is scared and knows something is wrong. I don't think he will be here by labor day if you come home for the Stoneboro fair I think that will probably be too late to see him. If it's possible, you should see him for all the great times he has given both of us we owe him.
It is hard to believe how brutally short of a time has past since I wrote what is in blue below to you, how very empty life can get and all too quickly. Ike has been getting worse. You know every night he still has to come and lay his head on me before he goes to sleep. He's done that for over ten years.
July 13, 2005 3 days from when John Bo died and Ike now has lost control over his bowls, it is getting close to the end.
Last year at this time if you would of told me what one year would of brought I would of never believed it!
Ike really does not have much time left.
Beesca,
watching Ike slowly die from cancer is so hard, he is such a great boy. We have been playing as much as possible, he is such a baby.  I don't know what I will do without him.
That's one of the reasons I've been taking so many pictures, to have the memories and to try and share all this with you
I don't think anyone understands how great a dog he is , or how much he means to me.
I really hope you do call, I'm extremely distraught and I could use you to talk to.
Ike would love to see you again
 Call us, we miss you!
zach and Ike are so close
Call; OK?

These were the hardest words I ever had to write someone. I love Ike so much I wish I could of traded places with him.
I don't think you got my point about this!
Say a prayer!
